Adam and I both work downtown, so we usually carpool in the mornings. When we're hanging out together, he picks me up from work, except he gets off an hour later than I do. Normally, it's not a big deal. I just read a book until he comes. However, yesterday my boss decided we should all leave an hour earlier than usual. While this was good news for my coworkers, I was not about to spend two hours in the sweltering Houston heat waiting for Adam! Instead, I went to Forever 21 and bought some adorable hair accessories (all for less than $10):
