About

In the spring of 2009, I was a college sophomore working in the campus computer lab. My sole job was to hand students their print-outs and because I needed something to do (besides homework, obviously!) I started this blog. It's been with me through my engagement, wedding, graduation, cross-country move, and new job as stay-at-home mom of three little girls.

I like to think of this space as a virtual coffee date. (Well, actually I'm not really a coffee fan. But tea or cocoa didn't have the same ring to it.) As an introvert caring for small children, there's not much I love more than the silence of nap time, punctuated by the tap-tap-tap of my typing. But, let's pretend that we're sitting at my kitchen table instead with the hot beverage of our choosing and a plate of freshly-baked cookies.

I'd tell you all about my daughters' milestones and funny sayings. I'd gush about the new recipe I tried, the last book I read, and my quest to retain some semblance of style. I'd elaborate on the house project I've currently roped my husband into helping with. I'd fill you in our recent adventures around Seattle and the next vacation we're planning.

And, of course, I would want to hear what's new with you. Please feel free to leave a comment or send me an email and I promise I'll try to respond. Thanks for stopping by!
