Today is the last day of my internship! This has been my second experience working for a non-profit and it's been great. I would be completely happy working in non-profit fundraising after graduation. I stumbled upon this career path when looking for some way to combine my two majors, accounting and history. Fundraising is awesome because it's a good mix of independent office work {writing grants and tracking donations} and interacting with people {meeting donors and planning events.} Major plus: non-profit employees are never expected to work more than forty hours a week. I am all about that. But for now, I am happy to enjoy the last few weeks of summer. My plans for this weekend include:
-Friday Night: Dinner with Adam and party with his coworkers.
-Saturday: Lots of baking, babysitting Scott while my parents celebrate their anniversary.
-Sunday: Julie & Julia with Allison, church, scrap-booking.
And, I leave you with my new all-time favorite candy {which is really just an improved version of my old all-time favorite candy.}
Sounds like fun!
