Some friends of friends {and now our friends!} from the Newman Center moved to Seattle. Two Saturdays ago, we went with Libby and Jon to check out the new Museum of History and Industry.
It was really neat and we all learned lots of Seattle history. Claire is finally growing out of her stranger anxiety or she's just excited to meet the baby girl Libby's incubating. Either way, she warmed up to Libby right away!
Our no-meat-and-dessert Lenten resolution is going well so far. And by going well, I mean really, really hard. What I wouldn't do for a Chipotle steak salad right now! Thank goodness for Sundays and the Pioneer Woman. I made her Marlboro Man sandwich and chicken piccata the last two weeks.
Claire tried spaghetti for the first time the other night.
She was a little hesitant at first...
.... but I'd say it was a success!
Other than that, we've just been doing our usual routine and working on some secret projects for Claire's birthday in our free time. I can't believe the big day is almost here!
