We are so glad to have caught up with so many good friends while here in Houston! The first weekend we were here, some good friends from high school also happened to be in town {they both live in Dallas now.}
We got to see Adam's friend, Nick, one night. Although the visit was unfortunately cut short by Claire {who was at home with her grandparents} waking up screaming...
We had breakfast with my friend, Sam, and her husband, Ben.
One night last week, my friend, Katie, and her husband, Jeff, invited us over for a delicious dinner. Fun fact: Katie and I met briefly at our Engaged Encounter and then reconnected through blogging!
This past Thursday, we met another good high school friend, Jake, for lunch. We had a great time, but definitely missed his wife, Jamie!
Yesterday, in an exciting turn of events, we actually got to see our friends from Pittsburgh, Tim and Abigail. They are on their way to summer training and stopped on the way to visit Abigail's sisters. I always forget how much shorter I am than Abigail until we take a picture together!
Their daughter, Amelia, is a month younger than Claire, although they were due just a few days apart. Amelia is definitely winning in the hair {how precious are those pigtails?} and walking departments. Claire picked up a few tips on running and climbing from her!
Claire, Amelia, and one of Amelia's cousins, who is just a few days older than her. We got a brief glimpse into what it would be like to have triplets. Whew!
The best thing about having lived all over the country is having friends all over the place. We are always so thankful for time together!
