This past weekend, Adam and I took a road trip to Baylor, a college outside of Dallas, to visit two of our best friends from high school. Adam drove until we got to College Station, the scariest part, but after we stopped for a snack at Chick-fil-A, I drove the rest of the way there. We had dinner with my friend Sam and her boyfriend, Ben, at Cheddars, a restaurant similar to Chilli's. Then, we met up with Adam's friend, Jake, and his girlfriend, Jamie, to get dessert at a local custard place. Waco, where Baylor is located, is the home of Dr. Pepper, so we enjoyed some very tasty Dr. Pepper floats. I spent the rest of the night at Sam's apartment, catching up on everything that happened since Christmas Break. The next day, Jake made lunch for all of us and we played a game of scrabble. On the way back to Houston, we stopped at the Gap outlet and I actually convinced Adam to buy some new polo shirts!
