Wedding Wednesday: Save the Dates

On the wedding agenda last week - save the dates, registering, and website.

We ordered our stationery from a little graphic design company called Sweet Penelope. You just pick one of their twenty-or-so designs.  Then it's customized with your colors and wording and sent to you as a pdf. We simply had them printed on ivory card stock at Office Depot and put them in the mail! If you didn't receive one, don't feel left out. To save time and money, we only sent them to out-of-town relatives.

According to the wedding experts, you're supposed to register at three stores of varying price points.  We registered at Target, Macy's and Pottery Barn, which was so much fun. It's like shopping for free! Although we did have a few minor squabbles about towel colors and such.
