On Wednesday, August 18th, we began the long journey of driving a Penske truck from Houston to Pittsburgh, armed with books on tape and lots of caffeine. We spread the drive out over three days - Adam drove about two-thirds of the time, but I helped out too.
Some highlights of the trip were....
Crossing the Mississippi River.
Spending a night with Adam's grandfather, who wasn't able to make it to the wedding.
Deciding we certainly wouldn't mind living in beautiful Tennessee one day.
And stopping at Tim Hortons {a Canadian doughnut place} in Ohio.
When we finally got to Pittsburgh, we rewarded ourselves with ice cream from Dave & Andy's.
Before we began the long process of unpacking and stocking up our apartment.
