On Friday night, Adam and I went on a completely free date. Our school has this amazing program, Pitt Arts. Every Monday, they send out a list of cultural events. You sign up for the event you're interested in. And then they let you know if you got a ticket. The events also include transportation and dinner or dessert. Basically, it's a pretty sweet deal.
We went to a Pittsburgh Symphony concert. The orchestra performs in the beautiful Heinz Hall.

We saw one of their Pops shows. They had a famous Abba cover band come in!

The show was really fun! They sang all of Abba's greatest hits. Afterward, we got to chat with the first violinist over peanut butter chocolate cake.
The rest of the weekend was pretty uneventful. We had a lot of homework to catch up on, since we didn't get anything done over the long weekend.
Oh, and of course, we got together with friends to watch the Steelers win the AFC Championship!
