Home Tour: Bathroom

I'm back with the third installment of our home tour! Here are the first and second parts, in case you missed them.

Bathroom June 2011

The bathroom is right off the kitchen. It's tiny, but it works.

This is the best shot I could get of our pretty ruffled shower curtain. That is Adam's towel hanging on over-the-door hooks.

Our tub is pretty basic. I use Herbal Essences shampoo, Clean & Clear face wash, and Bath & Body Works body wash. Adam uses...whatever we have a coupon for. He's not picky.

This pretty rug is my favorite thing in the room.

That's my yellow towel on the towel rack. The prints were a recent purchase with some birthday money. They are perfect daily reminders for us!

Ahh, the sink. It has just enough space for a soap pump and tumbler full of dixie cups. We keep our toothbrushes and Adam's contact supplies in the medicine cabinet. The cabinet beneath the sink holds our travel toiletry bags and some girl stuff.

Between the sink and the wall, there are five tiny shelves built in. We found $2 storage bins at Target that fit the shelves perfectly. The top shelf holds extras - more soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, etc. The next shelf has Adam's toiletries. As a girl, I get two shelves. The third shelf has stuff I don't use too often, like my blow dryer and nail polish. The fourth shelf holds all my everyday stuff. And, finally, the bottom shelf has medicine and first aid supplies.

So, that brings us to the toilet. Exciting stuff, right?

Bathroom June 2011

We have three shelves above the toilet for extra storage space. The top shelf has cleaning supplies and toilet paper. I'm weird about keeping five rolls there at all times. The middle shelf has some extra linens and the bottom shelf is just home to a box of Kleenex. The little container on top of the toilet holds flushable wipes. They are perfect for removing eye makeup and freshening up on a hot day with no air conditioning.

So, that concludes the bathroom tour! Stay tuned for the living room next week.

  1. Chirp!! That's our china pattern. :) I pointed out to Keith that we could do our WHOLE APARTMENT in chirp--bathroom, bedroom, living room, etc--but he wasn't exactly excited about the idea. ;-P
