We've been living in our little apartment for almost a year! And a lot has changed since we first moved in. So, over the next few weeks, I'll be showing y'all around our home.
We don't live in the prettiest neighborhood. But it's cheap and convenient, two factors that are way more important in our current stage of life. We live on the first floor of that red brick house. {The bike out front belongs to one of our upstairs neighbors.}
We always go in the back entrance because the front hallway is mainly used as a bike storage area.
So, that pathway takes you to the backyard. Our garden is coming along okay so far. Something {we're guessing a rabbit} ate several of our veggies, so we put up a chicken wire fence.
And, that brings you to our little back porch.
The porch is home to two cheap-o white lawn chairs that were provided by our landlord. The only thing that really sits on them is our watering can. We also keep our recycling bin and trash can out there.
And, finally, the back door. Our pretty and functional door mat is from Ballard Designs.
Upon opening the door, you step into our kitchen. But you'll have to wait a week for the next installment of the tour!

Where do you get the blue plastic recycling bins? I'm so sick of having to use the tiny Giant Eagle bags all the time!!
