I promise this is my very last post about Thanksgiving.
We made the turkey, gravy, stuffing and vegetables for our family feast. Adam's parents showed us how to do the whole turkey shebang, which was really helpful.

Grandma Casey's Stuffing
Ingredients:
12 cups stale bread cubes
2 cups diced onions
2 cups diced celery
3 eggs
2 cups warm water
Salt, pepper and poultry seasoning to taste
Directions:
1. Saute celery and onions in butter.
2. Pour mixture over bread crumbs. Add eggs and lots of seasoning.
3. Add just enough warm water to moisten. Should be plenty to stuff a 20 lb. turkey.

4 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan. Slowly add flour, stirring until combined.
2. Add milk, followed by cheese.
3. Whisk until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened. Serve with broccoli.

The day before Thanksgiving, I also made this apple pie and this pecan pie. Delicious!
