My husband-to-be is no longer a teenager!
Top Five Reasons Why I Love Adam:
#1 - He makes me laugh ALL the time. Like, last week, after dinner he went to use the restroom while I was clearing the table. He said "Do you wanna wipe?" Which is an odd thing to say when you're in the bathroom, but he meant wipe off the counter! Just another one of our inside jokes.
# 2 - He's a really hard worker {he got an awesome research job at Rice this summer} but he doesn't work TOO hard. I know that he will support our very-far-off-in-the-future family, but I'll never have to worry about him coming home late for dinner.
#3 - He is a great listener. When I talk about things he normally couldn't care less about, he is actually interested! Or at least very good at pretending to be interested.
#4 - We have a lot of common interests {food, reading, funny tv shows} but the most important thing we have in common is our faith. He brings me closer to God by making sure we read the bible and pray together often.
#5 - He shares my appreciation for adorable children. Like this baby we saw in the park on Saturday who walked over to where we were sitting, gave us the biggest grin, and then started moon-walking away!
