I can't take very much credit for Allie's birthday dessert. She found the recipe. My dad and Scott made the pie while us ladies were at my shower on Sunday. I just picked up the $6 worth of ingredients at Kroger.
It was delicious, easy, and much cheaper than purchasing an ice cream cake at Coldstone. We made a cookies & cream version, but there are so many other varieties I want to try! Like mint chocolate chip with oreos. Or vanilla with caramel sauce and heath bars. Or chocolate, peanut butter, and Reese's. Oh, the possibilities.
