Saturday in Snoqualmie

We spent the second weekend of Allie's visit exploring Seattle. On Saturday, we took her to Snoqualmie, otherwise known as the cutest little town in existence. The resort we stayed in for our anniversary was in Snoqualmie and we already wanted to come back to check it out again.



Snoqualmie is right near Mount Si at the foot of the Cascade Mountains.

Have you seen the 90s show, Twin Peaks? It was filmed here in Snoqualmie. Honestly, we have not seen the show, just the Psych episode spoofing the show! But, we had lunch at a fun diner that several scenes were filmed in.

The town was having their annual "railroad days" festival, so we wandered around all the booths.

We stopped at a park by the river for some picture-taking. 

And somehow this happened. 

Of course, we couldn't spend a day in Snoqualmie without stopping by the falls.

On Sunday, we went to Mass at St. James Cathedral downtown, had lunch at Pike Place Market, and took in the Seattle skyline from Kerry Park. 

Clearly, we should all be models. 

Or, at least one of us!
