Recent Sewing Projects

Over the past couple months, I've done a little sewing here and there.

Paige's Giraffe

A stuffed giraffe for Paige, who arrived in June.

Estelle's Giraffe

And another for Claire's cousin, Estelle, who turned one in July.

My most recent project was these counting bean bags for Audrey, who turns two next week. I followed this tutorial and even though it was my first time trying applique, they came together really quickly!

My quality control tester found them perfect for making pretend phone calls.

Counting Bean Bags

September is going to be a busy one for crafts because I'm trying to finish up our Christmas presents and Halloween costumes. Claire is getting a doll and Maggie is getting some soft blocks.

I was reading the description of my Meyers-Briggs personality type the other day and this sentence made me laugh:

"...most ISFJs find more than enough with which to occupy themselves within the framework of a normal life..."

That's pretty much me in a nutshell. Always busy with projects of completely my own invention!

  1. Too funny! I am an INFJ but just barely; sometimes I test as ISFJ.

I love your projects! I am not sure what the kiddos are getting from Mama for Christmas; I want to knit Michael a sweater for the fall, and have considered sewing all family members new pajama pants, but I think that might be way ambitious, especially once you throw moving into the mix!
