GIRL!
We ordered a gender reveal cake from a local bakery (Sweet Cakes in downtown Kirkland) and invited our friends Steven and Megan over for dinner last night.
Allie, Adam and I wore themed clothing for the occasion.
We also got festive beverages from Trader Joe's. We served pulled pork, sweet potato fries, and spinach salad.
Then we had cake...
And the verdict was pink!
I wish I had got some non-blurry pictures of Claire and Maggie. They were wearing pink and blue striped shirts because they kept changing their minds about wanting a brother or a sister. But they were both ecstatic about a third sister as soon as the cake was cut. And in our biased opinion, they are the cutest little girls in the world, so how could we be anything but thrilled about a third musketeer?
